First Place New Voices Showcase for Youth

" In the summer of 2022, the Hogg Foundation launched the New Voices Showcase for Youth. The goal of this project is to highlight the voices of young creatives aged 16-24 and address the question, “How would the world be different if it cared about your mental health?” in video format."

In the summer of 2022, I submitted a two minute stop motion film to the Hogg Foundation for their New Voices Showcase for Youth for a chance to be considered for their top places. I spent two weeks hand building and making not only the characters, but also the sets. For the stop motion process, I spent a week meticulously filming and adjusting my characters inch by inch to get the final result that is showcased in their post and final entry. I'm extremely proud and grateful to have received first place in their showcase and be a finalist. Hope you enjoy!
